We have a fantastic opportunity for an excellent Food Technology teacher to take their next step into leadership. You would be leading a subject that is very popular with students, evident from the high uptake at GCSE and the outcomes produced in KS3. The department has two recently refurbished food rooms, full time allocated Food Technology technician and comprises three Food Technology teachers.

The role and what we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is fully on-board with the academy vision, supports the subject ethos of developing essential skills for life through the key stage 3 curriculum, and can deliver continued success in key stage 4. Most importantly, you must have a passion for cooking. You will be able to set high standards for teaching and learning and have a relentless approach to ensuring success for all students. This really is a fantastic opportunity for a great candidate who has experience and ambition, ready to take on ownership of developing outstanding practice and innovating our Food Technology offer. Our newly refurbished food rooms, along with provision of new equipment and resources, have helped to further encourage and inspire our students.
